Erasing the Traces

These words — 'the very trace of this story vanished, as if to let one return to the moment before any of this had ever happened' — hit me so incredibly hard.
I often wish I could go 22 years back in time just to fix everything..... To live my life all over again.... Sometimes I just feel this desperate need to purge things, to get rid of certain belongings, if only to create an illusion that everything has gone back to the way it was before.
